The 9th Graduation Ceremony was Held at the Golden Horn

1470 graduates including 45 international students graduated in the 9th FSMVU Graduation Ceremony held on 28 June at the Haliç Congress Center. Our graduates tossed their caps in the company of their families and loved ones.

The Graduation Ceremony for the 2021-2022 Academic Year started with the singing of the National Anthem, followed by a concert by the santurist Sedat Anar. After the concert, Şevval Melek Hisoğlu, a top student in the Architecture Department, gave her speech on behalf of all graduates.

The ceremony was held in two parts this year. graduates from the Faculty of Literature, the Faculty of Islamic Sciences, the Faculty of Engineering, the Faculty of Law, and the Vocational School of Fine Arts received their diplomas in the first part; in the second part, the graduates from the Faculty of Education, the Faculty of Fine Arts, the Faculty of Architecture and Design and the Vocational School were on the stage. The awards were presented to the top students of all the departments and after that, all the graduates received their diplomas on the stage. After both parts, all our graduates came together to toss their caps with great joy and enthusiasm along the Golden Horn.
