Our University Hosted an International Internship Program and Student Workshop

An advanced internship program titled “New Media in Higher Education: An Approach Toward Internationalization”, prepared for the academic, administrative staff of V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University of Ukraine, and a student workshop titled “Modern University Considered from the Graduates’ Perspective” was held between November 11-13, 2021.

The internship program discussed the place of new media in higher education and its transformation towards internationalization. Taught by Dr. Bedia Tekin, Head of the International Relations Department, and attended by a team of 10 academic and administrative staff, the training phase was completed in an interactive environment.

The Student Workshop part of the program was held with the participation of 10 students from Karazin Kharkiv University's Departments of Computer Engineering, Sociology, and Economics and 7 students from Our university's Faculties of Law, Engineering, and Architecture. The students divided into groups and exchanged ideas by making presentations on the subjects of “the role of students in the formation and development of the idea of the university, digital modern generation and academic mobility of students.”  

The Internship Program and the Student Workshop were held face-to-face at our Haliç Campus and certificates were presented to the participants at the end of the program. The cooperation between FSMVU and V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University will continue with more academic programs to be held in the future.
